SCREEN Americas Celebrates Relocation to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony; Many in Attendance Including Mayor of Elk Grove Village

SCREEN Americas announces its official relocation from Rolling Meadows to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:00pm on March 18, 2021. Guests to the event included the mayor of Elk Grove Village, Mayor Craig B. Johnson along with representatives from the village’s fire and police departments.

“We are happy to welcome SCREEN Americas to Elk Grove Village,” said Mayor Johnson. “It is an honor to have such a thriving high-tech company call Elk Grove Village home.”

Ken Ingram, president of SCREEN Americas, had the honor of cutting the ribbon in the Inkjet Innovation Center, the 14,000-plus square foot area which has come to be known as the centerpiece of the new facility and the room in which customers will engage in SCREEN Americas’ technology for the commercial, publishing, direct mail, transactional, packaging, folding carton and label industries. The ceremony was followed by a complete tour of the 48,000 square-foot facility given by Mark Schlimme, vice president of marketing for SCREEN Americas. In addition to the Inkjet Innovation Center, guests had a peek at the prepress room, office space, executive suites, guest lounge and spacious warehouse.

Technology Park in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, was an ideal choice for SCREEN Americas who outgrew its space in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. As SCREEN continues to make advancements in high-speed digital inkjet technology, its presence in the printing and packaging industries has grown, and a relocation in order to continually showcase the advanced technology was necessary.

“We are grateful that we can utilize this wonderful location as a base for innovation and communication with our stakeholders,” said Takanori Kakita, president of SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. in Japan. “SCREEN GA Group’s motto is to ‘Create a Future in Print’ through the success of its customers. The American market is one of the most important regions for us and we look forward to having the Inkjet Innovation Center as a hub in North America to promote the synergy of cutting-edge technology and innovation as we create valuable solutions for our customers.”

SCREEN Americas looks forward to future receptions and hosting its customers at a later date in the new facility.
