SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd., parent company of SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co. and SCREEN Americas, announces its selection as one of the world's top 100 innovative companies and institutions based on patent data analysis and was honored with the Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2024 award. This is the third consecutive year SCREEN has received this award.
Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators analyzes and evaluates intellectual property trends of companies and institutions around the world based on patent data held by Clarivate, a global information services company. The evaluation was carried out using a two-step approach. First, companies that filed 500 or more applications since 2000 and had 100 or more inventions registered as patents in the past five years were evaluated; the international percentage of inventions was determined. Evaluation was conducted based on scale. The second step was to evaluate each invention and determine its score based on four factors: influence, success rate, geographic investment, and rarity.
SCREEN has continued to take on the challenge of creating and developing new businesses and products based on the core technologies it has cultivated over the years. Additionally, in order to realize a business portfolio that reflects market trends from multiple angles, SCREEN has formulated an intellectual property strategy based on a complex analysis of internal and external intellectual property information and has worked closely with each business and R&D. SCREEN is working on intellectual property activities and strives to strengthen its intellectual property capabilities.
As a solution creator that provides new value, SCREEN will continue to strengthen research further and develop methods to solve social issues and the intellectual property activities that support it. SCREEN’s overall mission is to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
