SCREEN Americas demonstrated the benefits of its Truepress Jet L350UV SAI series at Labelexpo Americas in Rosemont, Illinois, September 13–15, 2022. Attendees had the opportunity to see the S model of the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI in operation. With the theme being Creating a Future in Print, the company showcased a brand-new booth which spanned 2,400 square feet and portrayed an image of four rhythm dancers – one dressed in each of the four colors representing the CMYK formula – and a traditional Japanese Zen Garden that reflected the company’s roots in Kyoto, Japan.
Announcements took place during the convention including the news that SCREEN Americas and Nilpeter were expanding their partnership to include the sales, installations, and service of the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI series in Latin America. Several employees from the Nilpeter team from São Paulo, Brazil, were present in SCREEN Americas’ booth sharing details with attendees on the aspects of their coalition which originated in 2019. The alliance enables both companies to strengthen their presence in Latin America by providing printers with more options for high-quality, reliable printing equipment as well as more immediate service to their customers. For the team at SCREEN Americas, the partnership represents an opportunity to expand its reach into new markets and bring more value to printers.
Other news included the introduction of a new high-opacity white mode which is now available on the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S. The upgrade allows for reduced transparency when applying white ink on clear substrates. For label manufacturers in the beverage industry, this capability further enables printers to create a perfectly opaque label intended for green and brown bottles while preserving the accuracy of the colors in a company’s logo. The ink configuration of the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S is CMYK plus white with the option to add orange and blue inks to the mix.
Attendees in SCREEN Americas’ booth also had the chance to receive a demonstration of software produced by LabelHub. The company’s product complements SCREEN’s technology in that it is designed to alert operators of faulty files before they are sent to the press.
